This 7.5x5.5 inches Coptic-bound journal is made of Sashiko-inspired printed fabric in dark blue and gold.
It has 336 pages of 85 gsm blank, acid-free, ecological pulp paper, which was hand-bound using four needles and waxed cords to create compact chain stitches that tightly connect the pages onto the cover.
This technique is known as Coptic binding, an ancient way of binding books used by early Christians in Egypt and dates back to as early as 2nd century AD to the 11th century. Coptic-bound books are perfect for diary writing, art journaling, sketchbook and scrapbooking as it allows the book to be laid flat and opened up to 360 degrees.
Packaging
The journal will arrive wrapped in honeycomb paper inside a kraft mailer box.

We offer rebinding services with new blank sheets once you have filled out the pages. Rebinding fee for this journal size is P400. Please message alunsinahandboundbooks@gmail.com.
